A check in report serves three main purposes: it is a chance for the tenant to check the inventory and officially agree to its accuracy (or make amendments if they wish). It also acts as an anchor point for useful information about the current tenants and the property itself.
And the check in report provides a service - a courtesy introduction for your tenants to their new home, in which we formally show them around.
In our check in report you will find:
- All tenants' names and telephone numbers.
- The date the tenancy began.
- Meter serial numbers and locations.
- Meter readings at the time of the check in.
- Water and gas stop-cock locations.
- A list of all appliance manuals.
- The name of the inventory clerk responsible for the report.
- Tenant signatures declaring that they have read and accept the accuracy of the report.
|
We will print a copy of the check in report to deliver or post to you, along with the inventory the report was prepared with. |
