INSPECTION

Our inspection report is a brief check on a property during the tenancy to inform you of the condition in which it is being kept. This is particularly useful with untidy tenants and gives you a warning that the check out may be more involved than simply discharging the occupants, and what remedial action may be needed.

In our inspection reports you will find:

  • Property address.
  • Tenant name(s).
  • Indication whether the tenant was present or not during the inspection.
  • Details of any pets, or evidence of pets.
  • Whether the tenants are smokers or not.
  • Up-to-date telephone numbers.
  • Date of the inspection and the date the next one is due (if you keep a rolling process).
  • Summary of the rest of the report.
  • The name of the inventory clerk responsible for the report.
  • A breakdown, room by room, of the cleanliness and decorative condition. This includes any garden and/or garage.
  • Further notes, room by room, as applicable.
  • Tenant's requests or concerns, if raised.

We will email the report to you within two working days.

HOW TO BOOK AN INSPECTION

  • Contact us with the tenant's name, telephone number and the date you want the inspection to be booked.
  • We will arrange the booking and inform you of the date and time.
  • Either tell the tenant they are due for an inspection or let us confirm to them with a letter.
  • We will perform the inspection.
